Located less than an hour outside of Hollywood, California, Hollywood Hoofbeats is committed to providing a place of safety, security, and compassion for animals in need, especially those retired from the entertainment industry. Oftentimes, once animals are deemed too old for work in movies and television, their lives are marked by uncertainty, as they are bought and sold for the rest of their lives.  Our work here is to make sure the beloved animals you see on screen get a proper final act, living out the rest of their lives with sufficient love and respect.
